The Marketing Analyst III is responsible for designing, building and managing Marketing Automation platform for the 3M business group. This role is hybrid of marketing, technology and database skills and knowledge. Handles multiple requests of moderate to complex in scope. Leads platform enhancement and integration projects designed to improve business and operational efficiency. Helps design campaigns to meet business objectives.
The role is responsible for the end-to-end support and execution of the business groups requirements for various types of marketing automation requests until project completion.
Email Marketing, Website Forms, and Landing Pages
- Create, build, test and manage automated marketing campaigns and programs such as lead nurture and trigger based
- Develop emails and landing pages using approved templates to optimize performance through A/B Testing and segmentation
- Create and manage forms including best practice design, proper function, submission success and tracking, working closely with marketing and design team
- Build campaigns based off workflows designed by digital strategists and project managers
- Develop and implement a strategy for lead management and reporting, working closely with sales and marketing
- Deliver performance improvements via ongoing testing and results to provide continued learning
Contact Management
- Preparation of target list segments for marketing campaign, complying to 3M standards
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report performance of marketing automation campaigns
- Develop controls on all data inputs and outputs to drive data cleanliness
- Assist in plan development, tracking, and reporting of campaign performance
- Report on metrics of campaigns/nurtures/emails, provide data analysis and provide recommendations on how to improve or increase engagement
- May be assigned to generate and analyze MA reports as needed by the area or the business
Other Ad-hoc Duties
- Assist in project transitions thru process documentation and knowledge transfers.
- Acts as subject matter expert and will assist management and area process experts in process improvement and standardization.
- May be assigned to do Quality control of the MA Analysts output.
Additional Required Scope
- Assist in campaign architecting help design campaigns to meet business objectives
- Business stakeholder education to ensure full benefit of marketing automation can be unlocked
- Develop re-usable MA workflow templates, segments, filters, dynamic rules for the HCBG IN markets
- Keeping abreast and adapt to the growing 3M Global Marketing Automation work processes and practices
- Weekly/Bi-weekly status reports of campaign build progress include open, completed, and pending campaign activities for the upcoming weeks
- Involvement in quarterly review and planning of upcoming campaign
