About the job Technical Engineer
Technical Engineer Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, analyze, and evaluate mature and transition technologies to satisfy emerging requirements
- Install and configure operating systems, software, and hardware components, and clearly document the design, maintenance, and support procedures for routine tasks.
- Conduct high-level root-cause analysis for the service interruption and establish preventive measures.
- Create reports and documentation for findings and solutions
- Supporting the Engineering team during planning, design, development, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting processes.
- Analyzing existing systems and operations and developing preventative maintenance strategies.
- Coordinating with other Engineers and crew members to ensure quality products are completed on schedule.
- Performing quality control on all projects, writing reports, and making recommendations for improvement.
- Identifying potential problems and notifying the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Monitoring processes, workers, and methods, and developing plans for increased efficiency.
Technical Engineer Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors in the relevant engineering discipline or similar (Electrical and ECE)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining auxiliary systems such as fire alarm systems, security systems, and communication systems
- Ability to monitor and oversee multiple projects
- Strong understanding of system integration and interoperability among various auxiliary systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to auxiliary systems
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
