Key Responsibilities:

1. Cash Management

  • Lead the overall cash collections process to ensure timely and accurate collection of receivables.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and liquidity.
  • Work closely with the commercial team, direct customers and channel partners to minimize overdue accounts and bad debts.
  • Prepare cash forecasts, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.

2. Receivables Management

  • Manage the accounts receivable process, including billing, collections, and reconciliation.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers to facilitate prompt payment.
  • Implement and monitor credit control policies and procedures.
  • Analyze customers payment behavior and recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and proactively monitor unbilled ARs to ensure timely resolution and collection.

3. Inventory Management

  • Oversee inventory management processes to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the operations team and Channel partners to optimize inventory turnover and reduce holding costs, including ageing and obsolescence.
  • Actively keep track of demo units to ensure timely return and sellout.

4. Other Finance Function

  • Support finance manager in estimation and reporting processes, budgets
  • Support and manage cash metrics for annual budgeting, periodic forecasting and reporting requirements covering receivables and inventory.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the cost management activities and analysis.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior finance staff as needed.
