Overall objective of the Role

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing specific payroll and/or year end activities for PH clients.


Main Responsibilities:

Payroll

  • Validate payroll inputs and create upload files for payroll processing
  • Run and validate payroll results for specific payroll processes
  • Calculate final pay calculations of terminated employees
  • Generate and validate payroll reports

Year-End

  • Perform year-end tax reconciliation and validation
  • Generate and validate Alpha list
  • Generate and validate BIR 2316 forms


Competencies 

  • College Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
  • Can be fresh graduates with no experience
  • 1-2 years' experience in payroll and year end reconciliation an advantage
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times with the ability to prioritize work when there are competing demands and urgent business needs
  • Self-starter capable of taking initiative and working with minimal direction
  • Process and detail oriented. Able to multi-task.
  • Good verbal and written communication skill
