Networks & Systems Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor ICT infrastructure and security systems.
• Provide daily ICT and desktop support (phone, email, remote, on-site).
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot ICT infrastructure.
• Design and implement secure ICT architectures and configurations.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Manage backups for infrastructure and applications.
• Enforce security policies and procedures.
• Monitor and respond to ICT ticketing system requests.
• Mitigate ICT risks and support threat prevention mechanisms.
• Assist with new environment and application rollouts.
• Support compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Stay updated on ICT technologies and suggest improvements.
• Maintain vendor relationships and ICT asset registry.
• Create and maintain high-quality documentation.
• Mentor and train other staff members.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelors degree or diploma in ICT.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA N+/S+, CCNA, EC-Council, vendor-specific).

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years in a similar role.
• Strong networking knowledge and experience.
• Proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Active Directory, Server & Desktop environments
  • Office 365 administration
  • Endpoint protection (EDR/XDR)
  • TCP/IP and OSI models
  • Storage, backup, and replication technologies
  • Scripting (PowerShell, Linux Bash)
  • Cloud and hypervisor technologies
  • Monitoring solutions (asset)
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management and communication abilities.
