Tax Lawyer - Associate

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit an Associate (Tax) to join our client's team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with a strong interest in tax advisory to contribute to a dynamic and growing environment, supporting a diverse client portfolio across various industries.

Responsibilities:

• Provide tax, legal, and business advisory services to clients, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory standards
• Support tax advisory work related to commercial transactions, including VAT and direct tax considerations
• Advise on tax-related legal matters across transactional, contentious, and strategic planning contexts
• Collaborate with internal teams by sharing knowledge and contributing to the development of tax expertise
• Assist in strengthening client relationships and supporting business development initiatives

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Law is a must
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in tax advisory
• Strong understanding of VAT and direct tax principles, particularly within a Maltese or EU context
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently under tight deadlines
