On behalf of our client, Manpower is seeking a motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a growing multidisciplinary team. This position is offered at Associate Partner level, making it ideal for a professional who can work independently, manage projects with minimal supervision, and provide technical expertise across a range of engineering assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and supervise the installation of building services systems, including HVAC, water supply, drainage, public health, fire protection, safety systems, and associated mechanical equipment.
  • Design, develop, and integrate innovative engineering solutions within existing building services infrastructure.
  • Lead mechanical and MEP project assignments from design through to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, calculations, and engineering documentation.
  • Assess and manage payment applications, variations, and project claims.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and optimise building systems, maintenance requirements, and operational procedures
  • Witness testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
  • Carry out site inspections and supervision services to ensure compliance with contract requirements, engineering standards, legislation, and health & safety regulations.
  • Ensure all building services aspects of projects are effectively managed and delivered to the required standards.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and building services systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Warranted Mechanical Engineer status in Malta.
  • Candidates currently pursuing or eligible for warranting will also be considered.
  • Experience within consultancy, construction, building services, or multidisciplinary engineering environments.
  • Knowledge of Revit would be considered an asset.
  • Experience working on commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
