Hotel Operations Manager

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Hotel Operations Manager to join our client's team.

This role involves overseeing daily hotel operations, supporting team development, and delivering excellent guest service. The successful candidate will combine practical operational leadership with strong organisational skills, helping maintain quality standards and efficient working processes within a hospitality environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop the team through regular feedback, while supporting recruitment and maintaining a positive working environment.
• Manage staff schedules, holiday planning, daily briefings, and operational workflows, actively supporting service delivery.
• Oversee monthly closings, inventories, invoice checks, payroll preparation, and purchasing of food, beverages, and operating supplies.
• Maintain service standards and compliance with HACCP, occupational safety, fire protection, and applicable regulations.
• Review guest feedback, resolve complaints, and identify improvements that encourage repeat visits.

Key Requirements:

• Professional hotel training and/or a degree in hospitality or business administration.
• Experience in operational leadership within lifestyle hospitality or gastronomy.
• Good knowledge of point-of-sale systems, property management systems, and business management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, with a welcoming personality.
• Fluent English and a practical, guest-focused approach.
