QA Manual Engineer

Job Role & Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications and systems to identify defects and ensure they meet high-quality standards.
• Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
• Execute manual test cases, document results, and effectively communicate issues to the development team.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product owners to understand requirements and user stories.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance overall efficiency.
• Monitor and report the progress of testing efforts, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality releases.
• Actively participate in a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in manual QA engineering or similar software testing role
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, types of testing, and best practices.
• Experience using bug tracking systems to report and manage issues effectively.
• Proficient in writing comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on functional specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, isolate, and report issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
