Customer Care Clerk – Operations Support
A position is available for a Customer Care Clerk to support departmental operations by delivering efficient, reliable, and timely service while coordinating customer interactions and logistics activities. The role involves handling communications, supporting sales and distribution processes, and ensuring smooth coordination between field teams, warehouse operations, and administrative functions.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming telephone calls professionally, taking orders or relaying messages to the relevant teams
- Support field vendors and sales representatives via the logistics help line, logging and coordinating requests
- Assist with tasks related to sales and distribution planning
- Organise and route daily sales orders, calls, and deliveries, including preparing required documentation
- Prepare and coordinate documentation for maintenance, repairs, and sanitisation of equipment
- Process and reconcile delivery documentation, ensuring accuracy and validity
- Provide support to the cash office when required
- Coordinate shipment arrivals and unloading, ensuring goods are received according to procedures
- Perform checks on truck loading and unloading operations
- Participate in stock control activities
Requirements
- O' Level standard of education and ECDL certification
- Proven experience in a customer care role
- Strong communication, organisational, and coordination skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
