On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee daily HR operations and ensure a smooth employee lifecycle.
Reporting to the General Manager, the role focuses on operational consistency, compliance, and the ongoing development of an HR team of three.

Key Duties

  • Lead and coordinate day‑to‑day HR operations.
  • Manage full recruitment and onboarding cycles.
  • Oversee payroll inputs and related administration.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and job descriptions.
  • Ensure HR data is accurate, organised, and compliant.
  • Prepare HR reports and analysis when needed.
  • Supervise and support a team of three HR professionals.
  • Collaborate with L&D on training needs and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of employment legislation and HR compliance.
  • Minimum 5 years’ HR experience, including 2+ in a supervisory/managerial role.
  • Strong operational expertise: payroll, T&A, recruitment, and agency workforce management.
  • Excellent command of Maltese and English.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Capable of mentoring and guiding departmental leaders.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and experienced with Indigo HR/payroll systems.
  • Well‑organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Analytical and effective in solving operational challenges.
