The successful candidate will advise local and international clients on fintech regulation, digital assets, crypto-related matters, financial services licensing, and regulatory compliance, while helping shape the future direction of a growing specialist practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on fintech, digital assets, blockchain technologies, and financial regulatory matters
• Support licensing and regulatory authorisation projects for regulated entities
• Provide guidance on EU financial services legislation and emerging regulatory frameworks
• Draft and review regulatory documentation, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients operating within regulated financial services sectors
• Develop client relationships and contribute to business growth initiatives
• Participate in industry events, thought leadership activities, and regulatory discussions
• Support the strategic development and expansion of the fintech practice

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer or senior regulatory practitioner
• Strong experience within financial services regulation and fintech
• Knowledge of European financial services frameworks and regulatory requirements
• Experience dealing with regulatory authorities and compliance-related matters
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and advisory skills
• Commercial awareness and confidence in client-facing environments
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
