Job Summary
The Data Input Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data across various systems and databases. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work with speed and accuracy to support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update information into databases, spreadsheets, and company systems.
- Review and verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Maintain organized records of data sources and documentation.
- Assist in generating reports and extracting data as requested.
- Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Communicate with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies or clarify information.
- Perform routine data cleaning to remove duplicate or outdated entries.
- Support other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree preferred).
- Proven experience in data entry or administrative work.
- Excellent typing speed with high accuracy.
- Fluent in both Maltese and English, both written and oral
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and/or data entry software.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
