Head of Group Financial Reporting

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Head of Group Financial Reporting to join our client's team.

This is a senior finance leadership position within an international Group operating across multiple countries and business sectors. Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful candidate will oversee Group financial reporting, consolidation, internal controls, cash flow management, and the performance of the finance function. The role involves close collaboration with senior management and finance teams across Malta and overseas operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Group financial reporting, consolidation, monthly management accounts, budgeting, and financial analysis, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Support the CFO and senior management with financial insights, forecasts, trends, and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures, financial policies, and reporting standards across the Group's international operations.
• Oversee cash flow, banking relationships, VAT reporting, audit requirements, debtor and creditor positions, and other key financial information.
• Lead and develop finance team members, ensuring high professional standards, effective performance management, technical guidance, and continuous development.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive senior-level experience in financial reporting, accounting, financial control, or a similar finance leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of Group consolidation, management accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across international operations.
• Availability to travel internationally, including approximately three trips per year to North and East Africa, with trips lasting around two weeks.
