Concrete Plant Operator

Manpower is seeking to recruit a skilled Concrete Plant Operator to join a well-established organisation within the construction sector. This role is ideal for an experienced individual who is confident in operating batching plant equipment and ensuring high-quality concrete production.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the selected candidate will be responsible for operating and overseeing the concrete batching plant while ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and managing the concrete batching plant according to required specifications

• Ensuring correct use of design mixes, aggregate sizes, and accurate proportions of cement and water

• Identifying any inferior-quality materials and immediately communicating issues to the Head of Operations

• Staying up to date with relevant regulations and adhering to all Occupational Health & Safety Authority requirements

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in the construction industry, particularly in concrete design (essential)

• Strong communication skills in both English and Maltese

• A valid Category B driving licence

• Good knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
