About the job Fire Fighting Coordinator
Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Fire Fighting Coordinator to join our client's team.
The selected candidate will coordinate the servicing, installation, repair, and certification of firefighting equipment. The role involves organising technical activities, supporting field technicians, maintaining accurate service records, and ensuring that all work is completed according to internal procedures and applicable industry standards. The Fire Fighting Coordinator will also communicate directly with clients, prepare quotations and documentation, monitor scheduled works, and support quality checks on-site. This position requires strong organisational skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive client requests, schedule technical jobs, establish priorities, monitor progress, and ensure assignments are completed within the required timeframes.
- Support servicing technicians by providing job information, technical documentation, resources, and day-to-day operational guidance.
- Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities, conduct on-site quality checks, and support the preparation of certifications and repair quotations.
- Maintain professional communication with clients and follow up on quotations, agreements, payments, tender submissions, and servicing arrangements.
- Keep service records updated and prepare reports, timesheets, technical documents, and other administrative information required by management.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum MQF Level 5 diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
- Previous experience in a technical coordination role, preferably within firefighting, security systems, facilities management, or a related sector.
- Ability to coordinate technical teams and read and interpret technical diagrams and drawings.
- Strong planning, communication, problem-solving, customer service, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in office and service-management systems, fluency in English, and a valid driving licence.
