Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Technical Sales Executive to join our client's team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Actively sell modular buildings, mobile offices, and classrooms to prospective customers.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries and incoming leads.
- Manage multiple customer conversations and sales opportunities at the same time while maintaining high service standards.
- Prepare and send accurate quotations to clients.
- Follow up consistently on quotes, missing information, and open sales opportunities via phone and email.
- Use a structured follow-up schedule (same day / 24h / 72h / weekly) to move leads through the sales process until closure.
- Handle objections confidently and work towards closing sales effectively.
- Upsell relevant products or solutions where appropriate, without being pushy.
- Record all leads, calls, quotations, customer interactions, and next steps in the CRM system.
- Keep CRM records updated at all times, including lead status, deal stage, and next action.
- Use reminders and task management tools to ensure no lead or action is missed.
- Track and record lead sources accurately (website, social media, advertisements, etc.) for reporting purposes.
- Support sales-related online activity, including handling messages, enquiries, and basic posting or sharing when needed.
- Learn and maintain strong knowledge of product specifications, compatibility, and suitable applications.
- Provide customers with a high level of service, ensuring they feel supported even during busy periods.
- Travel as required using a valid driving license
Requirements:
- Fluent in Maltese and English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple customers or leads at the same time.
- Reliable and efficient, with strong follow-through and attention to completing tasks.
- Strong sales skills, including: confidence in closing sales, handling objections, and identifying upselling opportunities appropriately)
- Good PC skills and Excel / Google Sheets
- Experience using a CRM system, or a strong willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to maintain accurate CRM records
- Strong follow-up discipline
- Comfortable with online marketing-related sales activity, including: understanding lead sources such as website, social media, and ads, handling online messages and enquiries etc
- Valid driving licence.
