Senior Electrical Engineer

On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the technical delivery of electrical projects across Malta. This is a hands-on role covering the full project lifecycle, from design and tender preparation through to installation, commissioning, and project handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and review electrical designs, drawings, and technical documentation
• Supervise and mentor engineers and technical staff
• Coordinate electrical works across multiple projects
• Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, and cost estimates
• Oversee site installations, testing, commissioning, and handovers
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and health & safety requirements
• Support the development and growth of the engineering team

Requirements

• MQF Level 6 qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Warranted Engineer status with the Malta Engineering Board
• 7–10 years of experience within the electrical or MEP sector
• Strong knowledge of LV distribution, lighting, containment, earthing, and ELV systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Valid Maltese driving licence

Desirable

• Experience with Revit MEP or BIM software
• Knowledge of MV switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and BMS integration
• Proficiency in Maltese
