About the job Electrical Engineer

On behalf of our client, Manpower is seeking an experienced Electrical & ELV Engineer to support the supervision, quality control, testing, and delivery of electrical and low-voltage building services across a range of construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise electrical and ELV installation works throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review and approve materials, shop drawings, method statements, and contractor submissions.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and industry regulations.
  • Monitor and audit contractors' QA/QC processes and workmanship.
  • Witness testing and commissioning of electrical and ELV systems.
  • Review and approve as-built drawings and operation & maintenance manuals.
  • Identify defects, prepare snag lists, and oversee corrective actions.
  • Participate in site meetings and provide progress updates and technical advice.
  • Support the Project Manager with reporting, claims assessment, and project close-out activities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in electrical and ELV engineering within construction, building services, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of inspection, testing, commissioning, and site supervision activities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Revit, BIM design software.
  • Experience working on large-scale and complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and contract administration processes.
