Underwriting Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Underwriting Specialist to handle inquiries, assess risks, and support policy issuance while ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite quotes, policies, amendments, and renewals per guidelines and SLAs.
• Provide expert support to intermediaries and drive product growth.
• Collaborate on complex risks and resolve issues with intermediaries and policyholders.
• Conduct product training and maintain a strong knowledge of offerings.
• Manage binders,performance reports, and assist in audits.
• Promote product adoption through regular broker and intermediary meetings.

Requirements:

• Full-time availability; preference for candidates pursuing CII studies.
• Minimum 1 year of insurance experience (non-motor underwriting or claims preferred).
• Strong IT proficiency, writing skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure while meeting targets and service expectations.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
