About the job 1st Line Support Technician
On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit an 1st Line Support Technician.
Job Purpose
Serve as the first point of contact for clients experiencing technical issues, ensuring fast and effective resolution of common IT problems to maintain productivity and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first-level support for internal and external users.
- Handle basic troubleshooting including:
- Microsoft 365 password resets
- Printer issues
- PC and laptop hardware troubleshooting
- Software installations
- Log and track support tickets via the internal helpdesk system.
- Escalate unresolved issues to 2nd line support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of residence in Malta.
- Valid driving license.
- Proven experience in first-level IT support.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
- Digital literacy and adaptability to tech-driven environments.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
- Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems.
Additional Requirements
- Office-based role.
- Occasional travel to client sites in Malta.
