Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and ensure full compliance with statutory requirements.
• Review and improve internal controls, cost management systems, and financial processes.
• Lead budgeting activities and support cash flow forecasting and monitoring.
• Process monthly work-in-progress (WIP) calculations and prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis.
• Manage and support the accounts team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.

Key Requirements:

• ACCA qualified or in the final stages, or University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, cost accounting, and budgeting processes.
• Familiarity with VAT regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
• Prior experience in a project-based environment will be considered an asset.
