About the job Semi- Conductor Line technicians
Manpower is seeking to recruit Semi Conductor Technicians on behalf of our client. This position reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for carrying out constant preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, systems, services, installations, and tools in order to minimize loss of production time caused by equipment and machinery breakdown while adhering to company policies and procedures, health and safety, good engineering working principles and the relevant regulations at all times.
The Line Technician will be involved in:
Direct first line intervention on production line machinery and equipment
Technical assistance to production line operations.
Setting up and maintenance of our manufacturing and plant equipment.
Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of machinery and equipment.
Corrective actions following product failure analysis reports.
Documentation / Record keeping
Technical assistance and hands-on help to facility Maintenance person when required.
Technical department electronic parts storekeeping and control.
Calibration of equipment.
Chemicals storage and expiry control in accordance with H&S requirements;
Implementation of corrective actions as per H&S requirements within the Production area.
Requirements:
Have at minimum a level 4 diploma in electronics / electrical / mechanical engineering or similar.
Have a minimum of 2-year work experience in a similar role.
Have a practical, hands-on approach and be proactive in problem-solving.
Can work under pressure and able to take quick action to reduce production time loss.
Take ownership of the role and fulfil work requirements without supervision.
Take initiative and be self-motivated.
Working hours from 0630-1500 - Monday to Friday
Additional in-house training will be provided to the successful candidate.
