About the job Senior HR Officer
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Temping Department Lead OR HR specialist/executive to take ownership of our temporary staffing division. This is a key strategic role for an experienced HR professional who will act as a bridge between our operations and the Head Office HR team. The selected candidate will lead our temping services, manage client relationships, and collaborate closely with the Group's Head of HR and her team to align on policies, procedures, and talent strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the temping department and manage end-to-end temporary staffing operations
- Serve as the internal HR point of contact for all temping matters
- Act as the liaison between our team and the Group's Head of HR and her team to ensure alignment on HR policies and initiatives
- Maintain strong client relationships and oversee service delivery for temporary staffing clients
- Manage temping recruitment, onboarding, together with the HR team, assignment coordination, and performance of temporary staff
- Ensure full compliance with employment laws and internal procedures
- Coordinate with payroll, finance, and compliance teams to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR or temporary recruitment,
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels
- Highly organised, adaptable, and confident in managing multiple priorities
- Sound knowledge of local employment legislation
- Fluent in English and Maltese, Italian speaking would be considered an asset
- Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel
