About the job HR & Payroll Admin
Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit an HR & Payroll Admin on a full time reduced hours basis. The candidate is required to do training overseas
Responsibilities:
· Support the processing of payroll accurately through preparation of monthly adjustments. Assist with finalizing payroll runs- generating relevant bank files, tax reports and publishing of pay slips
· Handle payroll inquiries and provide support to employees regarding payroll matters
· Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in the system
· Drafting of contracts of employment
· Manage Leave entitlements
· Support the application process of work permits
· Support the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training
· Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures cooperating with the HQ
· Manage end-to-end recruitment process
· Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
· Stay updated on HR and payroll best practices and legislative changes
Qualifications and Requirements:
· A degree-level qualification in HR or a related field;
· At least 2 years of experience in an HR role, with a strong track record in payroll;
· Strong understanding of payroll and employment laws;
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Maltese and preferably Italian;
· Good command of the Microsoft Office
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills in order to manage multiple priorities;
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
· High level of reliability and flexibility
