Manpower is seeking to recruit an Electrical Lead Technician to join our client's team.
The Lead Electrical Technician will be responsible for managing electrical and technical faults, particularly focusing on Electrical components.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Lead a team in diagnosing and ensuring adherence to manufacturer's procedures and safety protocols.
- Utilise expertise in reading schematics, electrical diagrams, and manufacturers manuals to diagnose faults and guide team members in effective troubleshooting.
- Providing comprehensive verbal and written reports on their condition with a focus on safety.
- Ensure meticulous compliance with company time recording procedures, overseeing correct and timely completion of job cards by team members.
- Recording findings and promptly reporting any other faults or defects to management for further action.
- Advise management on potential problems and safety hazards inherent in the industrial environment.
- Lead by example in operating all equipment and power tools safely, while promoting and enforcing best practices for workplace safety.
- Take the lead in performing preventive maintenance tasks as required to uphold operational efficiency.
- Maintain meticulous records of all materials, parts, and consumables used during repair and maintenance activities.
- Lead efforts to maintain good housekeeping practices, ensuring safe working conditions and full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Take responsibility for the safekeeping and organisation of all relevant documents, ensuring they are signed as per requirements and promptly sent to the designated department.
- Uphold and enforce the Companys Quality (ISO 9001), Environment (ISO 14001), and Health & Safety Management System procedures and policies, while ensuring legal obligations are met. Contribute to achieving company objectives and targets while prioritising customer satisfaction and minimising environmental impact.
- Take on any other duties appropriate to the role of Lead Industrial Technician, as assigned by management.
Educational and skill requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing in English, to be able to
- report adequately to superiors and form good relations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, including the ability to respond to the needs of team members and provide them with assistance when and as required.
- To be able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
- To be always open and honest
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and to work with third parties.
- To be in possession of a valid driving licence as required by the Transport Authority
- To always have a flexible approach to work commitments
Working Conditions
- To have a flexible approach and be ready to work irregular working hours as and when requested.

- This position is based at the workshop and could require traveling to local clients to work on-site.
- The general working hours from 6:30 to 15:00 which reflect service workshop need to be adhered to (Could include working at night depending on business exigencies).
