Manpower Malta, on behalf of our client, is seeking to recruit a Fixed Asset Register Coordinator to join our clients internal dynamic finance team based at their headquarters in Floriana.

This role is ideal for someone with a blend of technical accounting expertise, systems proficiency, and practical experience in fixed asset management, ideally within hospitality or a similar operational environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the fixed asset register across multiple operational sites, ensuring accurate asset tracking and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, maintain, and update the company's fixed asset register across all Malta operations.
  • Track the full lifecycle of assets from acquisition to disposal.
  • Conduct regular physical asset verifications and reconcile against the register.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal asset management policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and asset-related reports.
  • Coordinate with procurement, finance, and operational departments for asset acquisition and disposals.
  • Manage documentation related to asset transfers, repairs, tagging, and disposals.
  • Support the tagging and labelling of all relevant assets.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or risks related to assets.
  • Assist in annual asset audits and inventory exercises.
  • Maintain the confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of asset data.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting or audit, ideally involving fixed asset accounting or ERP system implementation.
  • Exposure to asset tagging, capitalisation, or WIP reconciliation is considered an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Sun Systems or similar accounting software preferred.
  • Candidates pursuing a qualification in Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent will be considered favorably.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage phased rollouts across multiple sites.
