IT Infrastructure Manager

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Security: Oversee servers, storage, networks, and data centre operations. Implement robust security controls, manage firewalls, and conduct risk assessments.
• Issue Resolution: Tackle technical problems swiftly, minimise downtime, and ensure system uptime.
• Change Management: Lead infrastructure upgrades, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and support users through transitions.
• Budget & Vendor Management: Plan and track budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and control costs.
• Performance Monitoring: Define KPIs, analyze system performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Leadership & Team Growth: Inspire your team, delegate effectively, and cultivate a collaborative culture.
• Mentorship & Recruitment: Support junior staff, share knowledge, and onboard top talent.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in IT/Computer Studies.
• 4+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with:
  • Networking, Security, and Data Centre Technologies
  • VMware, Veeam, Microsoft 365, Advanced Threat Protection
  • VPN, 3CX PABX, ITIL, and IT operations best practices.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
• Willingness to travel and be on-call as needed.
