ELV Installers

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit an ELV Installer to join our client's team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing Extra Low Voltage systems, mainly fire detection and security systems. Installations must be completed according to technical drawings, relevant regulations, and internal quality standards.

The ELV Installer will assist with site preparation, install conduits and cables, manage tools, and complete the required installation documentation. The role also involves testing and finalising systems to ensure they operate correctly and meet client expectations.

The ideal candidate should be practical, safety-conscious, and comfortable using basic hand tools, steps, and ladders. The successful applicant must be able to work independently and collaborate effectively with other technicians on site.

Previous experience working with ELV, electrical, fire safety, or security systems will be considered an advantage. Preference will also be given to candidates who possess Licence A.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair ELV wiring, equipment, fixtures, fire detection systems, and security systems.
• Complete conduit and cable installations according to technical drawings, regulations, and quality standards.
• Assist with site preparation and maintain proper tool and equipment management.
• Complete installation reports, job records, and other required documentation accurately.
• Test and finalise systems while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to work safely using steps and ladders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
• Flexible, practical, and responsive approach to operational challenges.
• Previous ELV, fire safety, or security systems experience is preferred. Licence A is considered an advantage.
