Storekeeper - Delivery Driver

Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Storekeeper - Delivery Driver to join our client's team.

We are now looking for a full-time delivery driver responsible for collecting and delivering goods as well as developing ongoing business relationships with trade persons such as carpenters, panel beaters and sprayers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Unload incoming goods and verify them against delivery orders.
• Organise and maintain stock in an orderly and accessible manner.
• Ensure the accuracy of deliveries and promptly report any discrepancies.
• Conduct periodic stock takes and assist with storekeeping duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the warehouse.
• Adhere to safety regulations and best practices in warehouse management.
• Use company computer software for stock control and inventory tracking.
• Operate a forklift and other necessary equipment (training will be provided).
• Ensure efficient and timely deliveries to clients and the company's retail shop
• Maintain a high standard of service and operational excellence.
• Provide cover for the Warehouse Manager and Delivery Driver during absences.

Requirements:

• Having a similar experience as a driver in Malta;
• Motivated, smart and a good team-player;
• An excellent communicator in the English language, fluency in Maltese is an asset;
• Physically able to lift and transfer loads (approx. 15 to 20kg);
• Having a clean and valid C1 driving license;
• Having a clean police conduct.

• Salary: Depending on experience 
• Benefits: Company van and mobile allowance
• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 7 am  3.30 pm (30 mins break)
• Candidate location: Must be already living in Malta
