Project Manager

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Project Manager to join our client's team.

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing the execution of technical projects from initial planning through delivery and closing. The role requires effective management of project resources, budgets, timelines, stakeholders and quality standards, ensuring projects are completed in line with contractual, legal and customer requirements.

The successful candidate will combine technical understanding with strong project management capabilities, taking ownership of project performance while maintaining clear communication with clients, internal teams, engineers and consultants. The position also involves monitoring project costs, identifying opportunities to improve profitability, managing risks and ensuring that appropriate quality, safety and compliance standards are maintained throughout project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop project plans covering scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, resource requirements and potential project risks.
• Coordinate human and material resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to required quality standards.
• Monitor project expenditure, control costs, analyse project performance and manage project variations to support profitability.
• Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, coordinating clients, internal teams, engineers, consultants and other parties involved.
• Ensure project activities comply with company procedures, client requirements, applicable standards and local health and safety legislation.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or another related technical discipline.
• Previous experience in project coordination, site supervision or project management.
• Experience within Fire & Security, ELV, MEP or Building Services environments would be highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, stakeholder coordination and project delivery.
• A recognised Project Management qualification would be considered an advantage.
