About the job HR Administrator

Manpower Malta on behalf of our client are seeking to hire a HR Administrator to join a team of experienced and dedicated professionals. The chosen candidate would report to the HR Manager. The ideal candidate would be self-driven and able to manage his/her own work load whilst eager to learn and develop in this field.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide clerical support to the HR department;
  • Assist Line Managers and the HR Manager with the recruitment process;
  • Assist in the drafting of contracts and coordinating the engagement and termination process of employees;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records and documents with integrity and confidentiality;
  • Submit employee information to the relevant authorities and departments;
  • Liaise with the payroll team to ensure that any updates reach them in time for the monthly payroll;
  • Take charge of the induction process for new employees and assist in ongoing training;
  • Assist the HR Manager on any employee complaints and provide support to resolve conflicts;
  • Assist with performance management process;
  • Assist the HR Manager with the planning and execution of events;
  • Performs other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • A minimum A' Level standard of education;
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role;
  • Knowledge of the Maltese Employment law and experience in liaising with Maltese entities will be preferred;
  • Excellent communication skills, assertive with impeccable fluency in written and spoken English;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • An eye-for-detail and able to work autonomously;
  • Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Highly computer literate with MS Office Suite.
