Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our fleet of vehicles, with a particular focus on DAF trucks. The role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, with a focus on DAF trucks.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and software.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, brake, and tire services.
• Replace and repair faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Collaborate with other mechanics and maintenance staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Stay updated on the latest industry developments and best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience as a mechanic, with a specific focus on DAF trucks being highly desirable.
• Certification of experience or formal training in working on DAF trucks is a significant advantage.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as required.
