Overview

On behalf of our client, Manpower is seeking to recruit a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie for a reputable restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present dishes within your section to the highest standards

  • Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in developing new dishes and menus

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with health and safety regulations

  • Oversee commis chefs and support their development

  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner during service

  • Maintain stock control, portioning, and waste reduction

  • Collaborate with other sections to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef ready for the next step

  • Solid understanding of kitchen procedures and health & safety regulations

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent is a plus
