Manpower is seeking to recruit a Production Line Technician to join our client team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying faults and fault diagnosis.
  • Planning and conducting maintenance and servicing of plant, machinery, and equipment to the required standards.
  • Timely updating of the required maintenance and job-related documentation.
  • Ensuring that interventions carried out are safe and according to the required standards.
  • Participating in the design, procurement, training, and installation of new plant, machinery, and equipment.
  • Looking for alternative ways to conserve energy and reporting any ideas to the Engineering Management.
  • Responding to equipment breakdown emergencies promptly and responsibly, rectifying any equipment failure to its normal operating status.
  • Supporting the Engineering team to seek alternative ways that can optimize maintenance costs.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Be able to communicate effectively in both Maltese and English.
  • Be capable of working independently as well as interacting effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and work in a logical manner.
  • Have good computer skills, especially with using Microsoft Office.
  • Possess a valid driving license.
  • Possess a clean conduct certificate.
  • Wiremans licenses A and B, and previous working experience in the field will be considered an asset.
  • Training and further technical education will be encouraged and supported.

Job Info:

  • Type of Contract: Indefinite 
  • Salary: Depending on experience
  • Working Hours: between 5:00am and 4:30pm on a roster basis
  • Candidate location: Must be already living in Malta
