Manpower is seeking to recruit an Actuarial Analyst who will support the delivery of core non-life actuarial activities, including reserving, pricing, capital modelling, and risk management. The successful candidate will contribute to data-driven insights, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of actuarial processes, working closely with both internal teams and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Non-Life Actuarial Reserving, capital modelling, pricing, and risk management.
- Perform data analysis and provide management information.
- Contribute to developing and improving team systems, methods, and processes.
- Collaborate with the team on multiple projects, taking on various roles as required.
- Present clear and concise findings to team members and senior management.
- Document all work accurately and appropriately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and validate data
- Prepare reports and presentations summarising actuarial findings
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and compliance requirements
- Contribute to Solvency II-related activities, including the calculation of technical provisions
- and preparation of regulatory reports.
Requirements
- Undergraduate / Master's degree or equivalent in any of the following disciplines: Actuarial Science, Mathematics and/or Statistics
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the Non-Life actuarial field.
- Ideally, a part-qualified actuary with a willingness to pursue actuarial credentials
- Strong analytical skills, with good programming abilities or a desire to develop these skills.
- Knowledge or interest in data science concepts and methodologies is highly valued.
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously, managing time and resources effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly.
- Attentive to detail while considering the broader business context.
- Resourceful and able to handle ambiguity, using initiative to find quick and suitable solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
