Courier Driver

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Courier / Delivery Driver to join our client's team.

The successful candidate will collect and deliver parcels, documents and freight shipments throughout Malta, including collecting incoming freight from the airport and transporting outgoing shipments for export. This hands-on role requires a reliable, responsible and customer-focused individual who can organise daily tasks efficiently, handle shipments carefully and maintain a professional approach in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities:

• Complete customer deliveries and collections throughout Malta safely and on time, including airport freight collections and outgoing export shipments.
• Load, unload, sort and secure parcels and freight, ensuring all shipments are handled carefully and delivered in good condition.
• Complete delivery notes, collection records and proof-of-delivery documentation accurately, while keeping the operations team informed of progress, delays and operational issues.
• Provide courteous customer service, follow road safety regulations and company procedures, and keep the assigned vehicle clean while promptly reporting maintenance needs.
• Assist with courier and warehouse duties as required to support daily operations.

Key Requirements:

• A clean, valid category B driving licence is essential; additional categories A and C1 are considered an asset.
• Good knowledge of Malta's roads and local delivery routes, with the ability to organise deliveries and collections efficiently.
• A reliable, punctual and flexible approach, with strong attention to detail when handling shipments and documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently and within a team.
• Previous courier, delivery, transport or logistics experience is advantageous, particularly experience with airport freight, export shipments and proof-of-delivery procedures.

• Type of Contract: Indefinite | Fulltime
• Salary Package: -> Basic Salary + Commissions
• Commission Structure:
1. Using own vehicle:
• 2 € / 2.5 € per package 
2. Using Company vehicle:
   
   • 1.75 € / 2.25 €  per package
• Benefits: 
  • The Courier may be allow to bring the company car at home after working hours if they want to do extra deliveries.
  • The fuel is payed by the comapny.
• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 7:00 - 15:00
