Overview
The Senior Executive (Branding & Marketing) shall develop and maintain the company's brand identity. The officer will be tasked with various responsibilities aimed at ensuring that the brand is consistently presented to the market as per the Branding guidelines, and work towards a high level of brand recall/recognition from the general public, including through marketing initiatives.
S/he must work according to instructions provided by her/his superiors to achieve the desired targets in a timely manner. Together with the rest of the PR & Marketing Department, the officer shall always project a professional, corporate image and quality standards which tally with the expectations of the general public and stakeholders. In doing so, it is also paramount that the company's policies and procedures regulating such acquisitions are adhered to.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the enhancement of exterior and interior Branding in all hubs, identifying previously unbranded locations and replacing any outdated Branding signage across all the company's hubs.
- Ensure meticulous and consistent application of Branding in all internal and external channels. Monitor brand uniformity in all relevant working material, including e-forms and service applications.
- Oversee the Procurement process of branded merchandise, signages, and office stationery.
- Develop, disseminate, and monitor implementation of Branding guidelines for freephone 153.
- Serve as a reference point to stakeholders on Branding aspects and ensure their successful adherence to our Branding guidelines.
- Work with the rest of the team to come up with innovative marketing initiatives on a regular basis and assist in their implementation.
- Carry out general marketing administration duties as may be required.
- Oversee the standardization process in the branding aspect of the company and its projects, including those in relation to EU-funded projects.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and cultural shifts that could impact the brand or improve brand recognition.
- Explore new and innovative ways to strengthen and differentiate the brand, including new media channels and branding techniques.
- Liaise with the Head of Department in the drawing up of annual operational plans.
- Ensure the appropriate authorization channels are upheld throughout the forwarding of sensitive information to interested parties both within and outside the company.
- Ascertain and uphold ethical standards, including the protection of confidential data.
- Assist and coordinate logistics in events organized by the company or those in which the company is participating in.
- Any other duties that may be assigned as directed by the respective Permanent Secretary, company's CEO, Head of Departments, or their representatives.
- The Senior Executive (Branding & Marketing) shall maintain the necessary level of confidentiality commensurate to the level of responsibility and share all relevant information with Management who is also bound by confidentiality. Requirements:
- A recognised qualification at MQF Level 5, subject to a minimum of 60 ECTS/ECVET credits (or equivalent, regarding programmes commencing as from October 2023) or higher in Branding, Marketing, Communications, Interactive Media, or a related field, together with a minimum of two (2) years work-related experience.
- Be creative and proficient in both Maltese and English languages.
