About the job Corporate Communications & Engagement Manager
Manpower is seeking a Corporate Communications and Engagement Manager on behalf of our client, who will oversee the development and execution of communication strategies to enhance internal and external stakeholder engagement. This role focuses on crafting and delivering messaging that aligns with the companys goals, strengthens its reputation, and fosters a cohesive and inclusive corporate culture. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, creativity, and excellent communication skills to drive organizational objectives through effective storytelling and engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Communications
- Develop and implement comprehensive corporate communication strategies that align with the organizations business goals and brand identity.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on messaging, communication opportunities, and issues management.
- Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape to inform communication strategies.
Internal Communications
- Design and manage internal communication campaigns to keep employees informed, inspired, and engaged.
- Partner with HR and leadership to support change management initiatives and organizational development programs.
- Lead the development of content for internal platforms, including newsletters, intranet, emails, and town halls.
- Act as the communication liaison between departments, ensuring consistent messaging across the organization.
External Communications
- Manage external messaging to maintain and enhance the companys reputation and brand presence.
- Oversee the creation of press releases, media campaigns, and external communication materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and other external stakeholders.
- Coordinate responses to media inquiries and manage crisis communication efforts when needed.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop and manage engagement programs for employees, customers, partners, and the community.
- Plan and execute events such as corporate town halls, community outreach initiatives, and brand-related campaigns.
- Lead efforts to measure stakeholder sentiment and adjust strategies to enhance relationships.
Brand Management
- Ensure consistency of brand messaging and voice across all communication channels.
- Partner with marketing teams to align corporate messaging with marketing and branding initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate brand perception through surveys, analytics, and feedback.
Digital Communication
- Oversee the companys digital presence, including social media platforms, corporate website, and blogs.
- Collaborate with IT and digital teams to enhance the user experience of communication platforms.
- Track and analyze key metrics to assess the effectiveness of digital engagement strategies.
Leadership and Team Development
- Manage budgets and allocate resources for communication and engagement initiatives.
- Develop training and tools for company leaders to improve their communication effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- 5-8 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of managing complex communication projects and initiatives.
