Jr-Mid Project Manager

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Project Manager to join our client's team.

The selected candidate will join the Project Management department and will be responsible for coordinating internal teams, operational departments, suppliers, and other external stakeholders. The role focuses on ensuring that assigned projects are completed successfully while meeting technical specifications, agreed deadlines, and budget requirements.

The Project Manager will develop detailed project plans, assign responsibilities, monitor progress, and address any operational or technical issues that could affect project delivery. The successful candidate will also provide guidance to the repair team and maintain clear communication with management and all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

This position requires strong organisational, leadership, and analytical skills. The candidate must be able to manage several priorities, work effectively under pressure, and ensure that project changes, risks, costs, and deadlines are properly controlled.

This is an on-site position, and remote work is not available.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate internal teams, operational departments, suppliers, and third parties throughout project execution.
• Define project objectives, confirm technical feasibility, and develop detailed implementation plans.
• Assign responsibilities, establish deadlines, and monitor project progress, costs, and performance.
• Manage changes to project scope, work plans, schedules, and related costs.
• Support operational teams, resolve project issues, and ensure delivery within technical, budgetary, and contractual requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent marine-sector experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Italian is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proven team leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
