Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit an HR & Payroll Administration Officer to join our clients Head Office HR team in Malta. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Marsa, supporting payroll, HR administration, and employee lifecycle processes. The selected candidate will report to the Head of Corporate Affairs & HR and work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance with regulations, and smooth HR coordination.

The role requires a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who is comfortable handling sensitive employee data, supporting time and attendance processes, and ensuring all HR documentation is maintained in line with internal standards and local regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support payroll, time & attendance, and insurance processes, including data collation and HR system updates

  • Maintain accurate HR records, manage sick leave, overtime calculations, and attendance adjustments

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling and onboarding preparation

  • Prepare HR documentation, official forms, and submissions to governmental entities

  • Maintain structured digital and physical filing systems in line with ISO and Health & Safety standards

Key Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 5 qualification or equivalent education

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage financial data and schedules accurately

  • Experience with HRIS systems (Indigo and Time & Attendance systems considered an asset)

  • Excellent written and spoken English; spoken Maltese considered an asset

  • Ability to work proactively and meet tight deadlines
