Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Purchasing Executive to join our clients team.
The selected candidate will play an important role in supporting daily purchasing activities, inventory monitoring, and administrative operations within an international business and retail environment. This role is ideal for a proactive and analytical professional who can manage purchasing processes efficiently while maintaining accuracy and strong supplier relationships. The Purchasing Executive will be responsible for coordinating purchase activities, supporting stock control, ensuring proper use of internal systems, and assisting with reporting and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities within strict deadlines. This position also requires a high level of professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day purchasing activities, including budgeting, purchasing, inventory control, and supplier coordination

Generate accurate purchase orders and purchase invoices using the companys stock management system

Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock across different product categories

Provide administrative and operational support to distribution and wholesale activities

Prepare clear procurement reports and ensure accurate posting and recording of transactions in the ERP system
Key Requirements:

Bachelors degree in a business-related field

Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience in a similar industry; fashion purchasing experience is an asset

Fluency in English is essential; French and Arabic are considered a strong advantage

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and travel when required
