About the job Specialist Commercial Systems
Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Specialist Commercial Systems to join our client's team.
The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for Property Management Systems (PMS) and other commercial systems, supporting the connection between hotel operations, technology, and internal teams. This role requires a combination of hands-on hospitality knowledge, technical understanding, project coordination skills, and a strong focus on improving systems and processes.
The Specialist Commercial Systems will coordinate system-related developments and projects, support hotel pre-opening activities, and work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role will also contribute to identifying opportunities for automation and more efficient workflows while ensuring projects, timelines, and deliverables remain on track.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate PMS developments, system tasks, feature requests, and related activities across different teams.
- Support hotel pre-openings, including PMS setup, operational readiness, and system coordination.
- Manage commercial systems projects, ensuring timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables remain on track.
- Support the development and implementation of commercial projects, focusing on automation and process improvement.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems and workflows while maintaining clear project documentation and cross-functional communication.
Key Requirements:
- Hands-on hospitality experience combined with good knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS), ideally Oracle Opera Cloud.
- Experience managing cross-departmental projects, preferably involving both hospitality operations and technology.
- Good understanding of hotel operations, distribution processes, and system integrations.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and technology-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, together with fluency in English; German would be considered an advantage.
