Airfreight Executive

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit an Airfreight Executive to join our client's team. The successful candidate will support the efficient handling of airfreight import and export operations, ensuring accurate documentation, smooth shipment coordination, and professional communication with customers and business partners.

The role requires previous experience within airfreight, freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping, together with a good understanding of operational processes and customer service. The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable, and comfortable coordinating with airlines, agents, customers, and internal departments.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process import and export airfreight documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate airfreight shipments with airlines, agents, customers, and internal departments.
• Handle customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Monitor shipment-related activities and support smooth import and export operations.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and business partners.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in Airfreight, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Shipping is essential.
• Familiarity with import/export procedures and freight documentation is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in both English and Maltese.
• Strong computer literacy; ECDL certification or equivalent is considered an asset.
• Currently residing in Malta, with strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
