Senior AML Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle client onboarding and ongoing monitoring
• Implement customer due diligence measures using a risk-based approach
• Conduct screening, address alerts, and escalate when necessary with clear reasoning
• Manage compliance department emails and maintain internal registers for accurate record-keeping
• Execute AML procedures in line with the AML handbook
• Use AML software to complete client data and run risk assessments for approval
• Support the Compliance Executive with tasks and client requests
• Attend training sessions and actively contribute to team development

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in law, criminology, banking, or related fields (preferred but not essential)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in corporate services, banking, or audit environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
• Logical reasoning with a problem-solving, can-do attitude
• Strong client service skills with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of compliance
