On behalf of our client, Manpower is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a multidisciplinary consultancy at Associate Partner level. This role is suited to a highly knowledgeable professional who can work independently, manage complex commercial and contractual matters, and provide guidance to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, estimates, bills of quantities, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Lead tendering processes, tender evaluations, and procurement activities.
  • Administer contracts, including FIDIC contracts, variations, claims, and final accounts.
  • Review and certify contractor payment applications and valuations.
  • Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reporting throughout project lifecycles.
  • Advise clients and project teams on commercial, contractual, and cost-related matters.
  • Conduct site visits and valuations to ensure compliance with project and contractual requirements.
  • Support quality assurance processes and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the ongoing development of the Quantity Surveying team.

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor across construction projects, including residential, commercial, infrastructure, or hospitality developments.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, contract administration, and project financial control.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and construction practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driving licence.

Desirable

  • Membership of RICS or an equivalent professional body.
  • Knowledge of Maltese construction regulations and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, and other construction-related software.
  • Experience working within a consultancy or multidisciplinary environment.
