Field Service Technician

We are partnering with a leading provider of advanced power generation and industrial engine solutions to find skilled Field Service Technicians to join their dynamic service team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role working with state-of-the-art diesel and gas engine technologies across industries including power generation, marine, rail, construction, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of high-performance engine systems and generator sets.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and unscheduled field repairs.
• Support customers with technical guidance, training, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and adhere to strict safety standards.
• Travel extensively within your assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays.

Candidate Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as a field service technician or heavy-duty mechanic, preferably with diesel engines.

• Technical diploma/degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or

  equivalent experience).

• Experience with MTU, CAT, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Perkins, or similar engine systems.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, PLCs, and generator sets.

• Valid drivers license (CDL is an advantage).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in varied environments.

• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in confined or challenging spaces
