Network Technical Specialist

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Network Technical Specialist to join our client's Fixed Network team in Gozo.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair faults in the hybrid fibre-coax (HFC) network, ensuring minimal downtime.

• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on fibre optic and coaxial infrastructure.

• Build and activate new HFC infrastructure, including cable splicing and emergency service restoration.

• Mentor and support fellow technicians while participating in training programs.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining HFC access networks (fibre and coax).

• Practical knowledge of RF principles and basic electrical concepts (Voltage, Current, Resistance).

• Proficiency in fibre/coax splicing and interpreting network design documentation.

• Strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills with a customer-oriented approach.

• Commitment to continuous learning and willingness to mentor peers.
