About the job Quantity Surveyor
Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to join our client's team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for measuring, valuing, monitoring, and reporting the commercial position of assigned M&E projects. This role supports the project delivery process by maintaining accurate quantities, preparing payment applications, tracking variations and extra works, and ensuring that claims are properly documented and followed up in line with contractual requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to work closely with project teams, finance teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
- Measure actual quantities and value works completed on site, ensuring records are accurate, traceable, and aligned with drawings and project documentation.
- Prepare and submit monthly payment applications, including measurements, supporting documents, variation details, and other required substantiation.
- Monitor, track, and document extra works, variations, and claimable items to ensure these are captured in payment applications.
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to support the review and approval of claims.
- Prepare reports, forecasts, analyses, budgets, and other commercial documents as required by senior management.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within M&E or construction-related projects.
- Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD, Bluebeam, PDF measurement tools, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of CAD, BIM, Office software, contracting, and commercial project administration.
- Ability to carry out draft financial estimates and support payment and claim processes.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, organisational, and communication skills.
