Panel Beater

We are looking for a highly skilled Panel Beater to join our automotive repair workshop. As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing vehicles to their original condition while maintaining high safety and quality standards in the workplace.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience using body repair kits, welding equipment, hydraulic lifters, pneumatic saws, and other body shop tools.

Responsibilities:

• Repairing damaged panels, including straightening, filling, sanding, and shaping.
• Removing and replacing panels using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Performing dent pulling, rust removal, and other repair work to restore vehicle bodywork.
• Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and smoothing.
• Operating the jig system to correctly align and secure vehicle chassis and body structures.
• Using hand tools and power tools, welding equipment, and body repair machinery safely.
• Ensuring all repairs meet company standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Working closely with the spray shop team to ensure smooth workflow.
• Following all health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised workspace.

Requirements:

• Experience in panel beating or a similar vehicle body repair role.
• Experience operating a jig system for vehicle alignment (preferred).
• Knowledge of body repair techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and workshop guidelines.
